Cougar Basin (PZ12) Idaho, my scenery playground

v2.4 updated to remove the water from the runway that appeared after a world update. Also updated because it's Halloween :)

NOTAM #2 A major update to the Cougar Basin scenery in order to get it ready for Halloween. The Halloween scenery will be an add-on to this scenery so it can added for Halloween and then removed again afterwards.

Please let me know if you have performance problems as the scenery is getting very heavy lol

NOTAM #1 Strange lighting has been seen at night near Cougar Basin. The cause is currently unknown as none of the pilots who flew into the airstrip have refused to say anything about their experiences

Welcome to my playground in Idaho where I experiment with scenery ideas. It will be updated on a regular basis as new ideas bubble out of my head.

Located central to the popular airstrips in Idaho, at 8100' and 800+ feet long the grass/rock runway is usable by most small GA planes but be aware of the water close to the parking on the right hand side. To the east there is a 1000' lake for the float planes to use

The current phase is focused on custom buildings, objects and scenery animation on the east side of the runway in the trees. Any thoughts on possible additions are always welcomed.

I would be interested if anyone gets a performance hit flying into this strip so I can address any problems and know when to stop lol.

All the libraries should to be in your community folder anyway as a lot of developers use them and I would recommend the latest versions are downloaded from https://www.flightsim.to/c/scenery/libraries/

v1.8 preparations underway for Halloween. Major rebuild of the main house and new animations.

v1.9 further preparation work including animations, texturing and some night lighting added when fixing some minor errors in the Manor

v2.0 update in preparation for the release of the Halloween/horror add-on scenery pack to be released shortly.

v2.1 adjustments to the scenery to accommodate the Halloween add-on

v2.2 texture corrections and model adjustments to the abandoned house and minor tweaks elsewhere

v2.3 SU6 update, correcting a number of problems that it introduced.
