The city of Catolé do Rocha, located in the Sertão Paraibano, has a public airport, with a 1000x18m asphalt runway 11/29.
The small city of 28 thousand inhabitants survives on local commerce and agriculture.
Today, the Catolé do Rocha aerodrome mainly serves the demand for executive aviation and air taxis.
There is also, every year, a large aviation meeting, the EAC (Air Meeting of Catolé do Rocha), which brings together many aircraft and aviators from all over the North and Northeast for a festive weekend.
