Hallo,

Wir sind ein kleines Team was sich die Aufgabe gestellt hat, den Flugplatz Wasserkuppe und das Drumherum im Sim deutlich zu verbessern. Die Wasserkuppe - der "Berg der Flieger" hat insbesondere im Segelflug eine lange Tradition und verdient daher eine bessere Darstellung als im Basis-Sim.
Es gibt eine Tankstelle, eine Flugschule, ein Museum und viele Restaurants, Hotels, Hangars und andere Gebäude in der Umgebung. Berühmt sind auch das "Radom" und das "Fliegerdenkmal". Seit Version 2.5 sind diese beiden nun auch endlich enthalten.

Features:

• >40 handmodellierte Gebäude und Objekte (Version 2.5)
• Landebahn mit realem Höhenprofil
• 8 Parkpositionen
• Korrekte Funkfrequenz
• Eigene Rollwegtexturen und Landebahnmarkierungen
• Flugzeuge, Personen und kleinere Objekte um mehr Leben an den Platz zu bringen (teilweise sind hierfür andere Freeware-Mods notwendig)
• POI Markierung des "Fliegerdenkmals Wasserkuppe"

Bekannte Probleme:

• Es kann Überschneidungen mit anderen Mods geben, siehe auch FAQ bei Problemen dass z.B. das Radom nicht korrekt dargestellt wird

Installation:

• Einfach den Ordner "skydesign-airport-eder-wasserkuppe" in den Community Ordner kopieren
• WICHTIG: Solltet ihr von einer Version < 2.5 updaten, unbedingt vorher "z_karlo-airport-eder-wasserkuppe" löschen!

Hi,

we are a small team who want to enhance the scenery "Wasserkuppe" including its surroundings of the base sim.
The "Wasserkuppe" - the "hill of flyers" has a long tradition especially concerning soaring and deserves a scenery enhancement.
It has a fuel station, a pilot school, a museum, restaurants, hotels, hangars and many more buildings in its surroundings. 
Famous are the "Radom" and the statue "Fliegerdenkmal" which are now finally found in our scenery since version 2.5.

• runway with correct slope
• 8 parking positions
• correct INFO frequency
• custom taxiway and runway marker textures
• planes, people and smaller objects to bring "life" to the airfield (you need some external libraries for it, see dependencies)
• POI marking of "Fliegerdenkmal Wasserkuppe"

Known issues:

• some overlaps with other sceneries are possible and then some buildings will not show up correctly (e.g. the Radome). See FAQ for workarounds

Installation:

• just copy the folder "skydesign-airport-eder-wasserkuppe" as it is into you Community folder
• IMPORTANT: If updating from version < 2.5: Delete the old package "z_karlo-airport-eder-wasserkuppe" before updating!
