The Volkhov Hydroelectric Plant, named after V.I. Lenin, is a hydroelectric station situated on the Volkhov River in the town of Volkhov, Leningrad Oblast, in northwestern Russia. It holds the distinction of being the oldest and longest-serving hydroelectric plant in both the Soviet Union and Russia.
Also included in the package is a railway bridge across the Volkhov River, the station's Volkhovstroy-1 platform, and a locomotive monument, the Eu708-64, which was the first locomotive to arrive in Leningrad after the breakthrough of the blockade.
The models are not 100% authentic; for instance, the real locomotive has no clerestory window, and the truss bridge does not entirely match reality. However, this is preferable to having something missing altogether, as in the default version.
To install, move the "sksrc-volhovges" folder to the "community" folder. To uninstall, remove the "sksrc-volhovges" folder from the "community" folder. For updates, delete the previous version and install the new one.
For water animation, it is necessary to download the Niagara Falls animation.
The author of the power station model is dimndroll.
