Full Airport reconstruction of runways, Modelling is now more detailed than the old Ultra Version V8.0, i just have the huge task of making the runways/taxiways/aprons/parking bays/painted lines..
The airport is now operational with lots of updates coming

CHECKED AND WORKING WITH WORLD UPDATE 3 UK

Wating for Blender support  for custom Jetways :)

Installing updated versions for EGKK and Best way to clear your cache and get rid of old data indexes
1) Delete the older version 'gatwick' from community folder
2)Start fs2020 and spawn to default Gatwick
3)Close Fs2020 and install New version into community folder as 'gatwick'
4)Open fs2020
This method will solve the problem of scenery not appearing, or overlapping models

ONLY GATES are serviced by Jetways. Even if you are on a Left side stand, and it looks closer  if its a RAMP position the jetway will not move, instead call for steps. This is because Jetways can only serve ONE position in any muti config parking stands. If you look at map planner you can see which are gates and which are Ramp positions. This is how it is in this scenery. In real life of course Jetways can normally service Left positions and middle positions

    Main Pier building (Pier 5 48-54) Optimisation
    3000 Panel mesh array now replaced with 1 Replicated PBR texture with RGB AO/Roughness/Metallic and normal mapping. (TBT- to be tweaked later)

    Fire station remodelled and toned down colour. Now with a Gatwick Airport Fire service Coat of arms logo on front of Fire tower (lots to be done to this model including correcting the shiny roof..

    Main Apron texture reverted back to grey at the moment as its easier to work with in the SDK, and brings out the painted lines

    13L/M/R is Flybywire CTD safe in V9.9.7

    I have now fixed 31-38 and onto the 60's.. tested and confirmed all is working properly In the flybywire EFB ground services. V9.9.8 coming soon

    Looks like I need to go around the whole airport to stop flybywire CTD call for tug on parking areas close together. Overlapping L/M/R stands
    I still need to do 13, 31-35., 64-66, 150-153, 161, 170-180, 200-235.

    1-5, 10-28, ,37,38, 46-54L, 101-107, 552-574 should not not be causing an issue as I have alternated the parking types where needed

      Hi, gates should be jetway services, but there’s no way yet of choosing a specific parking bay. That would be another level of control needed, adobo may do this in future updates

      Not been in that area for a while, sometimes the sdk updates can delete assets, but good to know they are still there

      i am disappointed that I have never found any bears despite much hunting, but I did find gold.

      I find the lack of cats in the sim somewhat depressing.

    Can I use this with Zinertek's world airport updgrate or will it mess up things and/or cause CTD? It looks mouth-drolling great...
    PS: I've noticed that the world airport upgrade even though it should only affect generic airports sometimes there are double lines and ground markings on some airports. Vancouver intl being one of them..

      I think its ok to use the enhancement now, since the CTD may have been cleared by changing the parking bay types that overlap

    Amazing work mate, but one thing I spotted today was that when I was a certain distance away from EGKK the airport looked like this: https://ibb.co/PMF4Dwh
    If you can't view the image, the airport apron was basically covered in a pink texture. Anyhow, keep up the great work!😉

      yeah, i get something like that even in Default EGKK, but not very often, and not that much. I'm changing the main apron textures in the next update, and working on it now

      Have you done the recycle thing. After removing an older version of this scenery, restarting fs2020 and spawning at default gatwick. Then installing updated version of EGKK into com folder. Leftover links to textures can remain especially if you are using addon linker + manual large cache

      I'll do what you said. Never used addon linker before. As to cache, I only have rolling cache enabled. Probably should delete that and then create a new rolling cache file. No biggie anyway, thanks for the help.

    It looks like my installation isn't working correctly. I don't know Gatwick that well, but this building (https://imgur.com/a/8dpd9Zt ) and a few others, appear as flat blue, and textureless. This appears to be a fire station, but you can just about see that at the base of the tower there is another small blue building. Behind and to the left of the fire station, there also seems to be some 2D imagery of flattened structures. I'm sorry if this is how it's supposed to look, and I'm not complaining, but I presume this isn't correct.

    EDIT: And I saw what looks like a train/tram system going around the airport. These are also bright blue and textureless

      Yes, they are correct, they were the first models i made when i did not know much about anything. In the next round after this weekend (working on Shoreham scenery at the moment). I will be doing that area, 160's. So the blue bits will change

      Give it a whirl! I know i need an up to date GPU and CPU, infact, up to date whole new computer. But we all now thats not possible unless willing to pay 4 x MSRP to scalpers on ebay
