This is an IRL scenery from March 2022
Bunge airfield was built in 1939 as a military airbase and strategically located in the middle of the Baltic sea. When the ”jet-age” arrived, the runways were too short and Bunge airfield was mostly used as an alternate airport on the island of Gotland. The military frequently used it for training until its closure in 2001 when it became a private airport owned by the Martinsson family. Today the airport is a active general aviation airport but also serving helicopters and the military.
This is a very detailed scenery and based on real photo almost to 100%, which shows all wearness and shratches. The old red barracks outside the airfield is however more of a symbolic nature.
The scenary also include some simobjects like blooming flowers in the season, a garden umbrella which fold/unfold depending on wind strength and disapper during winter.
Many thanks goes to Claes Martinsson for documentation and photos.

Very nicely done! I've been there a bit myself in real life, and it's great to feel so familiar even in the simulator.
