Pensacola Lighthouse
This is another great witness of Aviation. It is located near Forrest Sherman Field, Naval Air Station Pensacola, Florida, where the Blue Angels are stationed. How many takeoffs, landings and loops has the lighthouse seen?
Built in 1859, the lighthouse is known to have been hit twice by lightning, and once by ducks! It is also famous for the ghosts that haunt the guardians' house. The lower third of the tower is painted white to stand out against the trees, and the upper part is painted black to stand out against a possibly cloudy sky.
In these scenery, the light from the lighthouse is animated, and there is a green beacon pointing out into the bay to lead boats into the middle of the channel.
To install, simply unzip the downloaded file to your community folder and run Flight Simulator.
Fly safe and don't forget to check out my other lighthouses.
Donations are greatly appreciated. As small as they are, the small creeks make a river and will motivate me for more artisanal sceneries
Enjoy

Great & Thanks. It's not only next to the NAS, but also to the Navy Aviation Museum, which makes it a great place to visit.

Are you by any chance planning on doing some landmarks in St. Augustine?

Hi Archer374,
As I answered to every other persons I try to focus on things around Beaufort, but If you look at my last sceneries, they were all after request, or suggestions.
Wait and see.
