The strips in the package are excessively simple, they consist of:
- One or more runways with terraforming (from GIS-data) to smooth the mesh
- One or two parkings as spawn points
- New: Tracks in the snow so that you can see where the strip is (depending on lighting)
List of Strips:
LSVD Clariden-Hüfifirn
LSVK Glärnischfirn
LSYI Limmerenfirn
Instuctions:
Installation: Just unpack the zip in the community folder.
- Land uphill, take off downhill
- One of the runways on Hüfifirn can be used in both directions
- Bring a cub...
- Check https://www.gletscherflug.ch for a list of sites with map sections and http://www.glacierlandings.com for photos and videos (helicopter centric)
- The glaciers seem to be recognised as sand. There's even some grass growing on some of them. Adding 30cm of snow in the weather settings improves things
- Terraforming artefacts (kinks) at the ends of runways. Once again we'll just have to wait for better tools and/or better mesh data
- The current low resolution mesh is not really up to the job
- The parked yellow cub is sometimes wings level, sometimes wings properly parallel
- you will just have to imagine skis
Looking at your pictures, could you tell me which month and how many cm of snow you had in your set up ? I tried many combinations and I get either everything covered with white snow without seeing the rocks, or, if I suppress the snow, I see the rock but I get grass coming out of the snow, even if I put grass off...!

My feedback: I would replace the cubs/aircrafts with something else to mark the locations. Maybe you can add some skidd marks, tire marks along the runways to make them stand out more. Maybe something wooden.
To be honest, I'm the kind of guy who in general dislikes that many people chose to place aircrafts at the most remote strips they make. One example: The Idaho backcountry strips people build and share all have at least 1-2 parked aircraft. This leads to a situation that you have 50 parked aircraft in that area at all times, which is highly unlikely and not really realistic.
But that's just my two cents. Still superb idea!
