What is this?
An excel file with two sheets for fuel performance and take-off performance calculation. Please read the README.md for further description.
1. Fuel Performance
- Input: Flight distance (nm)
- Output: Total fuel needed & amount of fuel in each tank (kg/lbs)
Enter the distance to your destination to get the total fuel needed. The specific amount of fuel to be put into each tank will be shown too.
Setting a certain amount of fuel for each tank from the menu is difficult at the moment, so I recommend setting the total amount of fuel in the menu and then moving around the tanks once you are in the cockpit.
2. Take-off Performance
- Input: Airport information, Take-off weight (T)
- Output: V2 (kts), Vr (kts), Theta_2 (degrees), Throttle lever N2 (%)
Enter the necessary values to get your V2, Vr, theta2 and Throttle lever N2 percentage for noise abatement.
Generally, the original concorde manual states that you reduce your throttle so that the N2 matches this value after passing 1000ft. This value (should) allow you to maintain a minimum gradient of 3% with a 20 degrees bank angle. If bank angles between 20 and 25 are required, the N2 value should be increased by 1.5%.
Limitations
Are the numbers accurate? To a certain degree, yes. I've used multiple linear interpolations for calculation, which has probably lead to less accurate values. Furthermore, I am still checking if DCDesigns Concorde does fly as the table. If you notice something, please let me know.
Future plans
- V1 calculation
- Landing performance calculation
- Increase accuracy
- Use designated NAP for certain airports
Anyway keep up the work, it's incredible !

Good Job! Landing Performance would be good to get 😊

Well I absolutely love this! I've been sorta just guessing and eyeballing how much fuel I'll be needing for a specific flight and man have you delivered with this! Since you can also adjust exactly how much fuel you need in each tank, this is a life saver!
