------------------------------
Background: Formed in the merger in 1987 with Pacific Western and Canadian Pacific (CP Air), Canadian Airlines was the second-largest airline in Canada up until 2001, when Air Canada acquired the airline. In 1989, Canadian acquired Wardair.
Canadian had a fleet of 97, including A320-200s, 737-200ADVs, 747-400s, 767-300ERs, ad DC-10-30s.
Canadian also had a regional subsidiary, Canadian Regional, which flew Fokker F.28s, ATR 4/72s, and Dash-8s, among others.
This goose livery, designed in 1999, saw limited service due to the fact that Air Canada acquired the airline soon after.

Fun fact: Canadian Airlines was the first airline in the world to have internet presence, with its website in 1994.
