This is a library for content creators and developers. Just unzip the file and drop it into the community folder.

This is a major update and is the best update to the pack so far (in my opinion).
Credit to all respective owners and helpers!
This has been an amazing journey from where I first began in the flight sim creation scene. Just looking back on old works and comparing them to my new models, I can see a world of difference and I hope you all can too!
Motorcycle paramedic, police and fire 😁
Just realized they have a fire MC

Hi,
Great job!
By the way, what is the other file BMW Airfield X5, an airport or part of the library? Where is supposed to be installed?
Thank you
It is an old additional file that was used for scenery by someone. It should be installed the same as the main pack as it is still a separate file

Both packs should be installed in Community? or only vehicles_new ?
You are welcome to install the old pack and most sceneries that use my library will have been using the old one because that has been out for longer but I highly recommend the new pack as it is much more detailed and realistic. I have a new update coming soon with some new vehicles and lots of changes so possibly wait for that!

Hi Doggone,
Thanks for the update...
Just a heads up - when you change the folder name, it causes problems.
One such is - mod managers won't remove the old folder if the update (new) folder is not the same name. You end up with both folders in your library.
Another issue - it breaks any dependencies set up in Addons Linker. For example;
'doggonepuppy223-uk-emergency-models' is setup as a dependency of 'nickb-airport-egyd-cranwell' = all good.
But...after updating and removing the old folder...
'doggonepuppy223-uk-emergency-models-updated' does not show as a dependency.
Addons Linker uses the folder name as the reference for dependencies. Change the folder name - break the dependency.

The folder that has updated in its name is a separate folder. You are still able to download the old pack with all the models that have been used as dependencies on other scenery projects. Treat the new pack almost like a whole separate thing for scenery development. There shouldn’t be issues with stuff like this as they are different files and have different contents - You can interchange them etc. Hope this answers your problems!

Hi DoggonePoppy223,
i´ve got an empty thumbnail of an "H145 ambulance sample" in my airplane list and i don´t think thats supposed to be there. Do you have an idea how to get rid off that?
Yes it was an experimental thing but it doesn't affect anything so don't worry about it too much!

@ DoggonePuppy223,
Excellent work...very much appreciated...
Don't forget to update the version number in the manifest.json file.
Here it shows version number 9.0, but shows 0.1.0 in the manifest.

Thanks for the kind words but i won't bother to upload a new file just for the manifest version number as is insignificant. How comes you were looking in this file?

Version 7.1 with a couple of Mountain Rescue vehicles to go with the H145's new winching ability??
Not sure as in the UK they only winch if they cannot land anywhere or it is too dangerous which is only for extreme circumstances. If mountain Rescue can get there then the Heli can land so it’s not as realistic. Also I don’t think there are any models out there for it

Looks great. Just a daft question. For people to see these models in my Airport or Scenery do they need to install this to their 'Community' folder?
Cheers.
yep other people will need to install this in their community folders along with scenery you create. If you post it as a dependency then they’ll download it and see it like any other dependency. Also when you create the scenery just reply with a link so i can check it out. Thanks!

Thanks very much for these!
Only one very minor comment so far, which is that your "specific to London" models would also work well in Northern Ireland, where NIAS also have a liking for sticking as un-aerodynamic a box as they can on the back of a van, then putting a stretcher lift on the back to pack up repeatedly, as well. 😉
2 years ago
Both ambulances are the exact same model with the same back bits however the only difference is that the specific to london one has london ambulance markings and the unspecified one doesn’t have the london only ones and so can be used anywhere
