Handcrafted buildings to improve Edinburgh airport. This project is continuously WiP.

With version 2.0 it is not anymore just the buildings in front of the airport, but actual improvements on the airport itself.

It contains the following changes to the default EGPH airport:

• Handcrafted models:
  • Control Tower
  • Parking Garage + Bridge to terminal
  • Train/Tram Station with pedestrians tunnel
  • Streetlights
  • Southeast Pier Terminal
  • Apron Lights (like they look irl)
  • Automated Docking System (only static/visual)
  • Custom parking stand signs on all gates (not on parking, just terminal gates)
  • Firefighter training dummy plane
• Changes to the airport:
  • Added the missing Turnhouse apron & GA Apron (on northeastern end of the Turnhouse apron)
  • Added all taxiways to connect the Turnhouse taxiway Hotel with the airport
  • Added custom enhanced taxiway textures (black-yellow-black)
  • Also, I have added lots of cars, that were totally missing in the default scenery.

I have never been to Edinburgh irl, so please bear with me for any inaccuracies. I model it with satellite imagery and photos I find online. 

It is the first addon / scenery I ever did for MSFS. The texture on the tower is not perfect, but at least from the front decent.

Please note that there are gates that actually would share a jetway connection with another gate, e.g. 9 & 9A, 4 & 4A etc. In this case only one of these gates will have the jetway available, the other will be served by stairs. Please refer to the world map list and check for a gate that's also called "Gate" rather than "Ramp GA". Unfortunately it is not possible right now to connect 1 jetway to two possible parking stands.

It is still Work in Progress, so I will improve the markings, add more buildings (e.g. Firestation & training facitilities) and fill it with some more "life".
